Charmece was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Texas at Dallas and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences with a concentration in shelter medicine at the University of Florida. Charmece has always loved animals and has dreamed of doing the same work as Dr. Pol since she grew up watching his shows. She's worked with VCA since June 2023.
Charmece began her VCA career as a client service representative and has since moved into work as a veterinary assistant. She takes a special interest in shelter medicine thanks to her studies. Her favorite part of her work is taking care of pets and seeing the look of reassurance on our clients' faces when they understand their pet being cared for. She believes all our clients should know that we strive to go above and beyond to ensure their pets receive quality care.
If Charmece were an animal, she thinks she would be a panda. She feels that they share similar spirits with one another. Her favorite inspirational quote is from Psalm 46:5; "God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day." In her free time, Charmece enjoys sleeping and binge-watching her favorite TV shows and movies.
