Our Story

At VCA Ridge Road Animal Hospital, we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives, delivering the best medical care for pets and the best experience for pet owners.

With three full-time veterinarians and our American Animal Hospital Association accreditation, our hospital prides itself on knowledge of the latest procedures and medications, ensuring that all our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care. Our veterinarians, technicians and other pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards to help you keep your pet healthy and happy.

Hometown Care at VCA Ridge Road Animal Hospital

We've been serving Rockwall and surrounding cities with excellent veterinary medicine for over 30 years!

Our hospital is located on the south side of Rockwall directly across the street from Kroger on Ridge Road and is easily accessible from Ridge Road with two parking lot entrances. We are open Monday through Saturday to provide the best care for your pets, whether they have fur, scales, or feathers. Our team looks forward to welcoming you and your beloved pets!

We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art medical facility and a warm, safe and welcoming environment that is designed to provide your pet with the very best veterinary care. Our services include preventive wellness and vaccines, sick care, exotic pet care, early disease detection, parasite control, internal medicine, spay and neuter, dentistry, dental x-rays, ultrasonography, digital x-rays, soft tissue surgery and microchipping. 

For your convenience, we also offer Home Delivery services and CareClub®, our comprehensive wellness plan for pets of all ages with easy, affordable monthly payments. We carry a variety of Royal Canin Prescription Diets in the hospital, but also have availability on our online store, where all recommended pet foods, like Purina and Science Diet, as well as prescription medications, can be easily accessed and delivered to your front door.

We have an ongoing relationship with the SPCA and Operation Kindness to help newly adopted pets stay healthy and transition to their new homes. Our hospital staff also volunteers for several events throughout the year and makes donations to local charities like Patriot Paws. We are thrilled to continue serving our community to better educate the public on proper pet care so that all families can continue to enjoy happy and healthy lives with their beloved animals.
