Dr. Moses graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 1973. He then completed his internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates. He fulfilled credentialing requirements for board certification in cardiology with training assisted by Angell Memorial Animal Hospital and Tufts University School of Veterinary Internal Medicine. In 1987, Dr. Moses became board certified by exams in cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

He has expertise in respiratory medicine and is a past present of the Comparative Respiratory Society. He attends national and international meetings in cardiology, ultrasound and internal medicine and has numerous scientific papers and book chapters to his credit.
