Dr. Hatzidis grew up in Bridgewater, MA and received her Bachelor of Science degree at Bridgewater State University. During her undergraduate career, she traveled to Cambodia twice to install water filtration systems in rural communities. Dr. Hatzidis volunteered at New England Wildlife center rehabilitating various wild birds, and cared for many orphaned animals, such as rabbits, squirrels, and racoons. She also spent time at multiple animal shelters while working as a veterinary assistant. She then attended veterinary school at Purdue University in Indiana. Dr. Hatzidis loves to travel and took advantage of Purdue’s study abroad program in South Africa, where she worked with zebras, antelope, cheetahs, and giraffes. Her interests in veterinary species range from small animals, wildlife, equine and small ruminants. She has a passion for physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, and neurology specialties. Dr. Hatzidis aims to integrate acupuncture and rehabilitation with modern medicine to improve the quality of life for our companion animals.

Dr. Hatzidis loves horses and has been involved in equestrian sports since a young age. Outside of work, you will find her at the barn riding horses and competing in the jumper ring at local horse shows. She also enjoys hiking, attending live music events, and relaxing at her favorite south shore beaches. Dr. Hatzidis supports her family by helping at her mother’s pizzeria of over 10 years, and has gained great pizza-making skills. When it’s time to unwind, Dr. Hatzidis enjoys being home with her two cats named Toby and Violet.
