Claudia Da Silva, DVM (she/her), is a veterinarian at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. She earned her undergraduate degree in Natural Resources Conservation with a focus on Wildlife Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2013. She completed her veterinary degree at University College Dublin in 2025.
Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Da Silva has been working in the veterinary field since 2013 across a variety of roles and disciplines. She has professional interests in zoological medicine, pathology, and infectious disease. Her background also includes earning a real estate license in Florida and participating in the Disney College Program. She is certified in open water scuba diving.
Outside of work, she enjoys going to theme parks, the movies, the beach, concerts, hiking, reading, and traveling. Her pets include Teddy, a Chihuahua-Corgi mix; Rogue, a domestic shorthair cat; and Carlito, a Horsefield's tortoise.
