Dr. Samantha Soltau, DVM (she/her), is a distinguished veterinarian specializing in diagnostic imaging at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. Dr. Soltau earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in 2013. She then pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2018. Dr. Soltau has completed two internships to further hone her expertise. Her first was a rotating internship at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center from 2018 to 2019. She then completed an internal medicine specialty internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) from 2019 to 2020. Following her internships, Dr. Soltau worked as an emergency veterinarian for one year before embarking on her residency. She completed her radiology residency at The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center from 2021 to 2024.
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Soltau enjoys staying active through yoga and lifting, and she is an avid reader and music enthusiast. She shares her home with Basil, a sweet and sassy cat.
