Dr. Fiona Chan earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at UC Santa Barbara. She joined VCA in December 2024 and brings a strong passion for small animal care, with professional interests in preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and is Fear Free Certified.
Originally from Millbrae, CA, Dr. Chan shares her life with her beloved dog Remi, a 5-year-old spayed female Jindo mix. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with Remi—especially at Fort Funston and Pulgas Ridge Preserve—exploring new boba spots and restaurants with friends, baking, DIY crafts, and relaxing at home.
What Dr. Chan enjoys most about veterinary medicine is its ever-evolving nature and the continual opportunities to learn and grow. She finds great joy in watching her young patients grow up, seeing their personalities blossom over time.
