Dr. Roland is an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Seaside Animal Hospital. She received her Bachelor's degree in Ecology, and Environmental Biology from UNC Asheville in 2000. Then she went on to get her DVM from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
Following graduation she practiced in rural western North Carolina where she was involved with animal welfare and rescue until she joined the family here at VCA Seaside in 2010. My name is Kathy Jo Pike and my home town is in Northeastern North Carolina, Elizabeth City.
I grew up around all types of animals and farming. I especially love dachshunds and horses. I started riding American Saddlebred Horses when I was 12 years old and got my first horse, Roxy, at 14 years old.
