10 merry ways to celebrate the holidays with your pet

The season of cheer is here and our pets want to get in on all that merrymaking! Since decorating trees and lighting candles isn’t our furry friends’ forte, check out these other jolly ways to include your pet in the celebrations:

1. Take a light-viewing walk. Discover all the fun decorations in your neighborhood on a magical nighttime stroll.

2. Pose for family holiday pictures. Get your pet gussied up in holiday collars or bandanas, and see how many treats and toys it takes to snap the perfect pic.

3. Romp in the snow. Put on some snow gear and go enjoy the wintertime weather. Just remember to call it quits before anyone gets too frosty.

4. Snuggle up for a holiday movie. Stay cozy and warm indoors by watching your favorite movies cuddled up with your favorite creature.

5. Bake some tasty pet treats. Whip up some goodies so your pet has something special to eat for their holiday meal.

6. Spread cheer. Now share those goodies with your pet-owning neighbors! Wrap them up with a nice note and leave them on doorsteps to stay socially distanced.

7. Carol on camera. If you have a howler or yowler on your hands, let them sing along as you virtually serenade friends and family.
