Dr. Dylan Burroughs was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital. He then returned to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a three-year residency in Dermatology and Otology. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Burroughs rejoined the staff at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital.
Dr. Burroughs is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and has many special interests including feline dermatology, immune-mediated dermatoses, and advanced dermatologic procedures such as intradermal allergy testing, anesthetic ear flushing, dermoscopy and laser therapy. Dr. Burroughs currently serves as intern director of the small animal rotating internship program as well as externship director for visiting veterinary students.
