David Diamond
Veterinary Specialist VMD, DACVS

Dr. David Diamond graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He completed a one-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, and a 3-year residency in surgery at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. Dr. Diamond passed his board certification examination to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999. He was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at Tufts University from 1998-1999, and was a staff surgeon at Angell from 1999-2001. He joined the staff at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in 2001. Dr. Diamond is certified to perform the tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) procedure for patients with anterior cruciate ligament injuries, and is proficient in all aspects of soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
