Dr. Gabriella Perez is a general practitioner who grew up in San Rafael, California. Her interest for animals began at a young age as she helped care for her family's pets: sheep, goats, and chickens. While volunteering at the YOLO County Animal Shelter, she confirmed that pursuing a career in veterinary medicine was her calling. After completing a major in animal science at UC Davis, she obtained her DVM from The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!).
Dr. Perez returned home and joined our doctor team. She enjoys all aspects of practice, especially getting to witness the human-animal bond in action. She is honored to help support this bond by maintaining the health of our furry loved ones. Dr. Perez has a special interest in low-stress handling, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery.
Dr. Perez lives in Petaluma with her partner and fur-family. She has two brown tabbies named Leo and Zeus, and a Chihuahua mix named Pele. When not spending time at work, she also enjoys going on walks, hiking, yoga, lounging with the fur-family, and spending time with her partner, family, and friends.
