Dr. Pilkerton attended College of Notre Dame of Maryland graduating in 2001. Following graduation Dr. Pilkerton received the Kirby Foundation Fellowship, which allowed her to participate in research at The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Pilkerton received her doctorate of veterinary medicine at The Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Pilkerton's professional interest include cardiology and endocrinology. In her free time, Dr. Pilkerton enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She lives locally with her husband, two children, cat, dog, and three horses.
Krystina began working with VCA Three Notch in 2013, and with hard work, was promoted to the veterinary assistant supervisor role. Her love for animals runs deep, especially when it comes to cats. Krystina volunteers her time with a local cat rescue and deals primarily with neonate kittens. On top of her volunteer work, her hobbies include camping, kayaking, and caring for her small farm.
