Marie, Certified Veterinary Assistant

Marie has been with VCA Three Notch Animal Hospital since 2016. She received her CVA from Coastal Carolina in 2012. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program with Penn Foster. She plans to pursue her VTS in Physical Rehabilitation in the future. Having a huge passion for animal behavior and training, Marie has achieved the Fear Free Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 certificates, and is working towards her Fear Free Animal Trainer certificate. Marie has been a Certified Veterinary Assistant in the field for 9 years, working in different states in the Mid-Atlantic region. She now lives in Southern Maryland, with her husband, Tyler; dogs, Titan, Rhea, and Skoal; cats, Annabel and Bond; and Oscar fish, Astronaut. She enjoys spending her spare time doing tie-dye, gardening, and training for dog sports and commercial photo/filmography work. She competes and trains with her dogs in multiple Disc Dog organizations, Agility, Lure Coursing, Rally, Barn Hunt, Nose Works, Weight Pull, Tricks, and more
