Dr. Ferris grew up in Florida, went to Florida State University, and then received her DVM from Ross University in 2008. After practicing for 12 years in NE Georgia, Dr. Ferris and her family moved to Grand Junction to be closer to world class mountain biking. She has been a part of VCA Tiara Rado since July 2020 and thoroughly enjoys working with the wonderful patients and clients, as well as the staff. Her interests within veterinary medicine are surgery and internal medicine, as well as exotics. Dr. Ferris' interests outside the hospital include a lot of mountain biking, hiking and camping. Dr Ferris' family (zoo) includes a husband, 2 daughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 7 chickens.
