Dr. Jenny Nguyen was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. Inspired to become a veterinarian when her beloved German Shepherd became ill, she attended veterinary school at Purdue University. Prior to veterinary school, she studied psychobiology at UCLA and worked in biomedical research. Her professional interests include comparative and translational medicine, pathology, oncology, and soft-tissue surgery. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys taking ballet classes, sweating hard at the gym, and spending quality time with her family. She currently has three cats, a dog, and a daughter, with the most talkative being a Bengal cat named Aegon.
