Dr. Leonard graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She completed her rotating internship in medicine and surgery at VCA Vet Care in 2004 and has worked with VCA since then. She greatly enjoys challenging internal medicine cases, dentistry, and management of the unique needs of senior pets. She is inspired daily by the bonds shared between her patients and their families. She enjoys getting to know her clients and working with them to provide the best care for their pets.

Dr. Leonard shares her home with her supportive husband, two children, and a host of cats, dogs, and hens. Although those above keep her very busy, she manages to carve out time to walk in the woods, work in her garden, and travel to new places when the opportunity arises. Every day, she is thankful that she gets to be a veterinarian and guide pet owners in making informed decisions about the health and welfare of their pets.
