Hi, my name is Dr. Kelly Pruchnicki, and I am the newest member of the VCA Westerville East family! A little about me, I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where I spent a majority of my time horseback riding. Growing up with horses inspired my love of caring for animals and led me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. To further my education, I attended Otterbein University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in equine pre-veterinary sciences and a life science minor.

After undergrad, I took a little time off and worked for a veterinary practice that serviced the thoroughbred and standardbred race tracks up in Cleveland, then moved on to working at a small animal clinic where I was a receptionist and assistant. I then was accepted to The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine where I recently graduated. While in vet school, I worked as a veterinary student assistant at a local small animal clinic where I grew to love treating cats and dogs!

My areas of interest within vet med include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, advanced imaging, ER, and new owner education. When I am not working I enjoy cooking, working out, spending time biking and hiking with my fiancé, Drew (our wedding date is this coming September!), and our dog, Merlin, as well as watching Netflix with my cat, Tommy. I am so excited to be joining the VCA team and can not wait to meet you and your furry family member!
