Growing up I knew that I couldn't see myself doing anything other than what I do now. I have always had a passion for animals and find great satisfaction in helping those in need. Being able to walk into work everyday and know there is always an opportunity to make a difference in a pets life, whether it be from medical attention or educating their owners, is why I have chosen to work in this field. I am always up for a challenge and working for VCA has given me just that as well as the opportunity to learn and constantly improve my skills. The staff at VCA Wiles Road have made me feel like family. The teamwork and overall compassion makes the work we do all that much better, and I am honored to be a part of that.
I was born in Pasadena, California, but moved to Florida when I was 6-years-old and have been here ever since. I recently spent 4 years in Gainesville, FL, where I attended the Santa Fe Teaching Zoo Animal Technology Program and received my Associate of Science degree. I have 4 cats (Cleo, Lou, Jack and Jiji), a Cocker Spaniel named Charlie, and a ball python. In my spare time, you can usually find me snuggled up with my cats or outside with some friends. I have a special interest in local wildlife (especially birds) and will occasionally volunteer at the Sawgrass Nature Center.
