Dr. Jesse Cecero is a veterinarian at VCA Winslow Animal Hospital in Sicklerville, New Jersey, where he provides thoughtful, individualized care focused on helping pets stay healthy, comfortable, and supported through every stage of life. He is known for combining a strong foundation in general practice with a passion for advanced medicine, helping bridge the gap for patients who need more complex care in a familiar setting.
Dr. Jesse’s path into veterinary medicine began with a lifelong love of animals and a growing interest in science. He started his career in 2016 as a veterinary nurse, where he quickly discovered his passion for hands-on patient care and client support. That experience shaped his approach to medicine today, grounding his work in both technical skill and compassion. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rutgers University–Camden, graduating as valedictorian, and received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Jesse has a strong interest in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, and anesthesia, along with a growing focus on ultrasonography. His experience across both general and specialty settings allows him to approach complex cases with confidence while keeping care accessible and grounded. He is Fear Free Certified and RECOVER Certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support, reinforcing his commitment to patient safety and a low-stress experience for pets.
For clients, Dr. Jesse’s approach means clarity, partnership, and trust. He believes that when pet owners fully understand their pet’s condition and treatment options, they feel more confident and can make decisions that best fit both their pet’s needs and their family. He takes time to explain recommendations in a clear, approachable way, ensuring each visit feels collaborative rather than overwhelming.
