Hello, my name is Lindsey Honnert, and I work as an associate veterinarian at VCA A Plus Animal Hospital. I am originally from San Mateo, CA, but moved to Reno in 2012 to complete my undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. I started my career with VCA A Plus in 2020 as a veterinary assistant and worked for two years before pursuing my veterinary degree at St. George's University. I graduated in 2026, and I'm thrilled my journey has come full circle, allowing me to return as a veterinarian to the hospital where my veterinary career began. My special interests include clinical pathology, oncology, and anything bug/parasite related.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling and tackling 1000-piece puzzles.
