Dr. Kristen Shuster received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Upon receiving her degree, she returned to the United States and completed a rotating internship at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in Portland, Oregon. Following this, Dr. Shuster completed her residency in medical oncology at the University of Illinois in 2024. 

Dr. Shuster's special professional interests include the management of lymphoma and palliative care. 

When not working, she enjoys reading a good book with her cats, spending time with her dog, and trying different types of art.
