Lauren joined the VCA Bay Park Animal Hospital team in September 2013. She developed her love for animals as a child from her grandfather who would take in many strays. Lauren began her journey in the animal field working as a kennel assistant while attending the University of Connecticut majoring in Sociology. She has been working in veterinary hospitals for over 15 years and couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. When not at work you can find Lauren reading, running around San Diego, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
