Rachel Boltz
Associate Veterinarian MS, DVM, DABVP (Feline)
Dr. Boltz has recently joined VCA Black Mountain Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian.

She received her DVM in 2001 from Michigan State University and has been in the companion animal clinical setting for 20 years. In 2008, she was awarded the National Winner of the Thank Your Vet For A Healthy Pet contest as Best Veterinarian in America. She is a past Don-Low Practitioner Fellow (2008-2009) in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis College of Veterinary Medicine and received a Certificate of Achievement in Hemodialysis from the same institution years later (2015-2016). Dr. Boltz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Feline Practice, originally credentialed in 2009 and re-credentialed in 2019.
