Dr. Kathryn Martinez was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb outside of New Orleans. She attended LSU for undergraduate studies in Animal Science as well as the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2016, she moved to Las Vegas to begin her veterinary career. She enjoys working with the staff at VCA Blue Cross and loves helping her patients maintain happy and healthy lives. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and French Bulldogs.

When she is not at work, Dr. Martinez is passionate about donating her time to the Street Dog Coalition, a non-profit organization that helps aid pets in need. She loves watching college and professional sports; her favorite teams are the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. She also enjoys spending time with her fur-babies, Finn, Bella, and Louis.
