Raquel G., Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Raquel has been working in the veterinary medicine field since 2003. She started has an assistant at a small general practice. In 2008 she earned her RVT status and moved on to a large specialty hospital working in the ICU. She fell in love with emergency and critical care but desiring a shorter commute, joined Southern Crescent ER in 2011. Raquel joined the team here at Braelinn Village after the Internal Medicine Specialty was added to further serve our critical care patients.

Raquel is currently furthering her education and working toward a BS in Biology. Her interests include emergency medicine/critical care, wounds, surgery, and learning more about exotics and wildlife. While not at work, she studies for school, reads, attempts to keep her potted plants alive, hikes, and assists in bat netting. She shares her home with one human, two dogs, and four cats.
