Dr. Sam was born and raised in Tehran, the capital of Iran, where he also earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Azad University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Karaj. He later moved to Canada in 2016, completing the NEB and ECFVG certification programs in 2021, and began practicing veterinary medicine shortly thereafter.
In 2024, Dr. Sam joined VCA in South Florida, bringing with him a passion for surgery and strong interests in internal medicine and dermatology. He is a proud member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).
Dr. Sam is known for his love of patient and client interaction and his eagerness to embrace new challenges every day. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, swimming, exploring new cuisines, and planning his next travel adventure. He currently shares his home with his beloved domestic shorthair cat, Cucumber.
