Miki began working for VCA Castle Hills in September 2017 as a Client Service Representative. She grew up on the Southside of San Antonio and attended McCollum High School. She has worked with animals since the age of 16 when she began volunteering with Last Chance Forever. Miki has been a kennel and veterinarian technician at several local veterinary clinics and also worked for the San Antonio Humane Society as a clinic technician. She has 3 dogs: Frodo (a Dachshund), Sherwin (an Airdale terrier mix), and Lil' Bit (a Pit mix). Miki's favorite thing about her job: "Saying hello to all the four legged family members (and their 'parents', too) and puppy breath". Miki is a Certified Tourism Ambassador and World Heritage Ambassador for San Antonio. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, painting rocks, fishing, gardening, giving tours San Antonio and surrounding areas and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
