Bobbi Hafer
Medical Director
Dr. Bobbi Hafer grew up on ranches in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. She received her Bachelor's in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Kansas State University. Dr. Hafer knew at the young age of five that she wanted to "fix animals" and she has been living her dream ever since. Upon graduation, she completed a one-year rotating internship at Alameda East Verterinary Hospital. She remained on staff for the next 8 years. Then, in 2013, she joined the VCA Firehouse team as their Medical Director for over 3 years. After a 3-year break to help establish a new animal hospital from bare walls, she returned to VCA in April 2020 to joint Stapleton Veterinary Hospital, now VCA Central Park Animal Hospital. In September 2020, Bobbi stepped up into the Medical Director role at Central Park. Dr. Hafer treats dogs and cats as well as non-traditional pets. Dr. Hafer takes pride in caring for all her patients as if they were her own pets. She has three terriers (Wrigley, Ruby and Winnie), a Blue Crown Conure (K.T.) and a Crested Gecko (Mango). She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing volleyball, hiking and camping. Bobbi and her husband, Justin, enjoy watching their children at swim meets and lacrosse matches throughout the year.
