Dr. Aakansha Virwani graduated from Ross University in the Caribbean in 2020 and began her veterinary career in Illinois. She joined the VCA team in August of 2023. Her interests include not only dogs and cats, but also exotics, wildlife and zoo animals. Dr. Virwani enjoys the science and investigative components that come with veterinary medicine and takes pride in watching pets improve and thrive. She enjoys surgery and the satisfaction that comes when a suture line is neat and clean.

In her free time, Dr. Virwani enjoys photography, traveling, sightseeing, and attending concerts and plays.
