Ciera Clowdus joined VCA Contra Costa in 2019. Ciera is originally from Southern California. She moved to the Bay Area to continue her education and start her career. Ciera earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from San Francisco State University and an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. 

After Ciera's first job in an animal hospital, she fell in love with the work and decided to remain in the veterinary field. Ciera is passionate about providing exceptional care for pets young and old, and educating clients about what they can do to take care of their pets at home. When not working, Ciera enjoys hiking, planning new adventures and spending time  with her family and two dogs, Boots and Korra.
