Rachael first began her career at VCA Delmarva Animal Hospital as a full-time kennel assistant in December 2020. She soon took on the position of a veterinary assistant in the fall of 2021 and is currently studying to become a credentialed veterinary technician. After many volunteer hours with local animal rescues, Rachael's love for animals and animal health care is what ultimately motivated her to pursue a full-time position in the veterinary field. Rachael grew up in southern Delaware where she currently resides with her husband and two dogs, Harley and Willow. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, and many camping trips with her family of four.
"Thinking back to my adolescent years veterinary medicine has always held a special place in my heart. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to pursue the start of my lifelong career at VCA, and look forward to advancing in such a rapidly evolving industry."
