Hi, I'm Tina! I've been part of the VCA Edgewood Animal Hospital team for a total of about five years, and I'm so happy to be here helping pets and their families every day.
I've lived in Cedar Rapids my entire life and truly love calling it home. Before joining the veterinary field, I spent more than 20 years working in banking. While I enjoyed my career, I was ready for a change that would allow me to combine two things I'm passionate about: helping people and helping animals. Working in veterinary medicine has given me the opportunity to do just that!
At home, my son and I share our lives with our kitty, Itachi, who keeps us entertained and reminds me every day why I love animals so much.
When I'm not at work, you can usually find me catching up on my favorite Netflix shows, meeting friends for coffee, or simply relaxing at home.
I'm passionate about the work I do and truly enjoy welcoming clients and their furry family members to our hospital. I look forward to meeting you and helping make every visit a positive experience for you and your pet!
