As a young girl Dr. Amanda Reed was raised on a hobby farm in Indiana with dogs, cats, horses, sheep and a menagerie of small exotic animals. From the age of 6 Amanda decided she loved animals and wanted to be a veterinarian. High school and college founded a love of science and desire to constantly learn new things, which solidified her career choice.
Dr. Reed attended Franklin College for her undergraduate studies, receiving her degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She then attended Purdue University to earn her veterinary degree. Dr. Reed has practiced in Scottsdale, Arizona and Indianapolis, Indiana with experiences in both general practice and overnight emergency practice.
Dr. Reed enjoys preventative medicine and loves to help pets live their longest, happiest lives possible. She has particular interest in dentistry and internal medicine.
In her spare time Dr. Reed enjoys reading, knitting and baking - French macarons have become a recent favorite experiment. She also enjoys exploring Washington state to find new places to hike with her husband Michael and dog Svobo.
