In our AAHA-accredited facility at VCA Foster Animal Hospital, we've helped pets live long, healthy and happy lives for more than 50 years. We work hard to deliver the best medical care for your pets, as well as the best experience for you, the pet owner.
Our veterinarians, technicians and other pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medicines ensures that all our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care.
Foster Animal Hospital is proud to have been serving Clifton, Montclair, Nutley and the surrounding area for over 50 years. We are committed to providing you with excellent customer service and a welcoming experience every time you visit. Our veterinary hospital provides top quality medical services, wellness exams, preventative care, vaccines, diagnostic services, spays, neuters, dental procedures, and soft tissue surgeries. We have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, which is one of the highest honors an animal hospital can achieve. That means we are voluntarily inspected in over a thousand areas, including continuing education, medical record-keeping, pain management, diagnostic equipment, surgery, dentistry. and facility safety and maintenance, to name just a few of the areas evaluated.
In addition to our excellent medical care, we also offer nutritional guidance and a full line of prescription and nonprescription foods. At various times during the year, we offer Client Education Fairs, which are free to the public. These fairs provide the most up-to-date information to keep our pet owners educated on the latest medical care available. Feel free to stop by to meet our staff and take a tour any time.
If you should have questions or concerns about your pet, please call us at (973) 777-0064. Our doctors and staff are here to help you and your pet!
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
