Dr. Kirsch is a 2008 graduate of the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree with Distinction. She has also earned several advanced degrees in Engineering and Basic Sciences in addition to her DVM, and has been the recipient of several academic scholarships and fellowships.
Dr. Kirsch hails from Colorado and was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is especially fond of Dachshunds, and has five of her own to keep her occupied right now. She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, a Chinese Veterinary Herbalist, Tui-Na and Food Therapist, and her additional professional interests are extensive: orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery, neurology, pain management, and rehabilitation therapy. Her personal interests include knitting and fiber arts, fine arts, hiking and trail running, and in her free time she hand-makes pens and fine writing instruments in various exotic hardwoods and custom acrylics.
