Dr. Buffaloe is originally from Brazil, where she graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Lavras, having loved animals from a very early age.
In addition to working at an animal hospital for a couple of years, Dr. Buffaloe obtained a PhD in Food Science and worked as a researcher afterward.
Since coming to the United States in 2019, Dr. Buffaloe earned her diploma equivalency through the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates® (ECFVG®) from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Her professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, and feline medicine.
Dr. Buffaloe shares a house with her husband and their two Siberian cats, Scruff and Ana, who are supposed to be quasi-hypoallergenic but just to be sure, her husband takes one allergy pill daily! These little creatures are loved beyond measure and are the main source of entertainment in the Buffaloe household.
When Dr. Buffaloe is not at work, she enjoys photography, cooking, and traveling with her family.
