Prior to moving to Austin, Dr. Andrew Mong had been practicing at VCA Desert Inn Animal Hospital since 2006. He was born and raised in Amherst, NY, and received both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Cornell University. His veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, oncology, dentistry, orthopedics, ultrasonography and preventative wellness care. Dr. Mong taught technician dentistry at PIMA Medical Institute in Las Vegas.

In his free time he enjoys movies, video games, playing oboe, and spending time with his four cats, dachshund, and golden retriever.
