Dr. Andrew Mong has been dedicated to veterinary medicine with VCA since 2006, previously practicing at VCA Desert Inn Animal Hospital before relocating to Austin. A native of Amherst, NY, Dr. Mong earned both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Cornell University. He specializes in a variety of veterinary fields, including soft tissue surgery, oncology, dentistry, orthopedics, ultrasonography, and preventative wellness care. Additionally, he has shared his expertise by teaching technician dentistry at PIMA Medical Institute in Las Vegas.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mong enjoys a range of hobbies such as watching movies, playing video games, and playing the oboe. He cherishes his time with his family, three dachshunds and cats.
