Dr. Bailey grew up in a small town in Southwest Georgia, where she was raised learning the importance of family and community. One of her favorite things about San Antonio is the feeling of a small-town community, while having the amenities of a city close at-hand. "I love that you can be downtown enjoying the city life, and then out in the rolling hill-country within 30 minutes!" says Dr. Bailey. "It's the best of both worlds, in one city!" Dr. Bailey earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Georgia Southern University – where she graduated Cum Laude. She then went on to attend veterinary school at the Western University of Health Sciences, graduating in 2018. Following her graduation, she worked for two years in the field of emergency veterinary medicine.
When not busy at the clinic, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending her weekends exploring the great outdoors hiking and exploring local parks with her canine companion – a 9-year-old Labrador named Belle. "I adopted Belle from Alabama" says Dr. Bailey. "She loves going for hikes, although, in her more recent years she spends most of her time eating and napping." Dr. Bailey also enjoys recreational country dancing, and is enjoying learning more Latin dances such as Cumbia and Bachata.
