Dr. Young was born and raised in Boerne, Texas, where his love for animals began at an early age. Growing up on a small family farm, he spent his childhood raising cattle and chickens and was always surrounded by beloved furry companions. At just 11 years old, Dr. Young discovered his calling after being inspired by his family veterinarian and the meaningful difference he made in the lives of both pets and the people who loved them.
That early passion led Dr. Young to join the Kendall County 4-H Veterinary Science Program, where he gained his first hands-on experience learning about animal health and veterinary care. He went on to volunteer at veterinary hospitals throughout the area, where he quickly developed a deep appreciation for the profession and the incredible people who dedicate their lives to helping animals.
Dr. Young continued his journey at Texas A&M University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science degree in 2022 before being accepted into the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026, completing a journey that began with a childhood love of animals and grew into a commitment to providing exceptional care for pets and their families.
