Emily Godden was born and raised in San Jose. While growing up, Emily's grandma's house was her favorite place because she had a farm with six horses, six dogs, and numerous cats living in the barn. Emily's family always had an abundance of pets, and she always dreamed of a career that involved working with animals. However, her career path led her into retail instead, where she developed strong skills in management, team growth, and support. Emily's dream of a career in animal care remained a constant.
The opportunity to join the VCA Animal Hospital of Los Gatos team gave Emily the perfect opportunity to merge her leadership experience with her passion for animals. Emily looks forward to bringing her expertise in team development and operations to a role where she can make a tangible impact on the staff and the animals they care for.
In her free time, Emily enjoys baking, creating art, such as painting or drawing, and spending time with her family. Emily is the proud owner to a terrier, Chester, and two cats, Taz and Olive.
