Averey L.

Hi, my name is Averey! I was born and raised in San Diego. I work as Kennel Assistant at VCA and I couldn't have asked for anything better, I love it here. Going to work every day is a blessing because I have the best team, so unbelievably motivated, positive, and passionate with work. I am a very passionate animal lover always have been, who strives every day in order to learn, grow and make a big impact on helping animals in need. I am just getting started in the veterinary field and I have a lot to learn, but this is my dream and all is worth it in the end.

In my free time, I love the outdoors so anything adventurous outside or hanging with my friends or family. I have an amazing Pitbull named Ollie. He was abandoned on the side of the road, he was only a couple weeks old. His previous owner was unable to take care of him and I found my best friend that day. We do everything together and he motivates me every day to do better in life. A quote I live by each day is, "Never stop learning because life never stops teaching", and I think that carries through in the work I put in daily.
