Hospital Manager
Israel has been working in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician for 19 years and counting. He was born in Mexico, before relocating to the Bay Area at the age of 12 with his mom and younger brother. He has grown up with many types of animals, from dogs, cats, fish, birds, ducks, and chickens, to pigs, ferrets, turtles, and snakes. Through his long career at VCA Animal Care Clinic, Israel has enjoyed learning about all aspects of being a technician. He has worked in surgical care, dentistry, outpatient care, emergency care and eventually came to be a floor lead with a special interest in teaching. Outside the hospital, Israel enjoys working on his plants and spending time with his wife, three kids, and his dogs, Sammy (a pharaoh hound) and Lux (a micro American bully).
