Danita Reese, Staff Veterinarian
I am originally from Albany, Georgia. It was there where I spent my childhood exploring my family’s pecan/beef cattle farm and it is where I became strongly rooted in my love of animals. I finished my undergrad at Fort Valley State University in 2007 and then completed my veterinary training at Tuskegee University in 2012. From there I transplanted my Georgia roots to Las Vegas and have been practicing medicine in the valley since 2012. I have a strong interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. I love the challenge and emotional reward of veterinary medicine.
I share my home with a pack of my own which consists of one pitbull (Bones), two Yorkshire terriers (Gizmo & Tuesday), one tegu (Toronto), and one blue tailed monitor (Godzilla). Besides taking care of my pack and veterinary medicine, I enjoy watching a variety of sports (Go Falcons!), volunteering with children, and enriching my life with family and friends.
