I attended Western Oregon University and graduated with a major in general science and a minor in business. A commercial chicken farmer’s daughter, I followed my dream to work with animals and completed Portland Community College’s Veterinary Technology Program in 2004. I have a special interests in the human-animal bond, canine rehabilitation, canine fitness and animal behavior. I am not only an avid dog trainer for my own two “fur kids”, Glide and Bet, but also instruct companion pets in basic obedience and dog sports. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, baking and competing in the dog sports of flyball and agility.
