Dr. Langbein is a California native and hails from Davis, California. She received both her Bachelor of Science in wildlife and fisheries biology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis. Dr. Langbein loves the intellectual challenge of internal medicine, and the fulfilling and satisfying feeling she gets from a surgery well done. She especially loves connecting with people and their pets, and is incredibly grateful to have the ability to make a difference in their lives.
In her spare time, Dr. Langbein enjoys hiking, biking, endurance horse racing/riding, running, skiing, camping and traveling. In addition to staying active outdoors, Dr. Langbein has several pets at home that help keep her busy. She has two dogs: Annika, a four-year-old German shepherd, and Luke, a 12-year-old Pomeranian. She also has two cats, Bobbi, a 17-year-old tabby, and Pivo, a three-year-old tabby. Dr. Langbein also has two horses: Reason to Believe, a 20-year-old Arabian gelding and Sparkle, a six-year-old Arabian mare.
