Dr. Pearlman is a Jersey Shore native and grew up only miles from OCVH. She attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and completed her DVM degree at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the staff of OCVH in the summer of 2003 and is actively involved in all aspects of companion animal care. 

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association(JSVMA) and is also a USDA Accredited Veterinarian.

Prior to graduation from vet school, Dr. Pearlman spent some time managing a local animal shelter and rescued pets of her own. When not delivering excellent patient care, Dr. Pearlman enjoys art and nature along with tending a beautiful garden.
