Dr. Diva Malinowski Green is the medical director at VCA Old Canal Animal Hospital in Plainville, Connecticut, and is originally from Newington, CT. Dr. Green attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a double minor in Psychology and Chemistry. Go Bison! She then attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, California.

Nicole started her career 27 years ago with VCA. She graduated from Becker College in Leicester, MA, in 1999 with a degree in animal science. In 2000, she passed the test to become a certified veterinary technician. She worked at VCA Valley in South Windsor for 12 years, as an assistant, then a technician, then as a technician supervisor. In 2009, she was promoted to manager at VCA Vernon where she spent another 10 years. Nicole has been with VCA Old Canal since January 2020 and continues on her path to further her career in veterinary medicine and business management.
