Team Spotlight
Dr. Ferrao joins our team after working at VCA St Mary's in Lexington Park, Maryland. She was born and raised in Rockland County, NY and received her undergraduate from SUNY Buffalo. She completed her veterinary degree at St. Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ferrao enjoys small animal medicine and surgery. Outside of the office she likes outdoor activities including skiing, going to the beach, sports, reading and travelling, and spending quality time with her husband, two daughters and their and their cat; Roumi. Karyn has been with VCA Orange County Veterinary Hospital for over six years. She began with OCVH as a client service representative and moved her way up when we became a VCA hospital to the front desk supervisor. Karyn lives in Orange County with her wonderful dogs, and Alex, and their side kick, a rather large tabby cat. Karyn, a huge animal lover, helped set up our hospital with the Florida Food Pantry in our TOE NAIL TUESDAY events, donating food for pets in need. Her attention to detail and organization skills are what makes our hospital run so smoothly!
