Dr. Ferrao joins our team after working at  VCA St Mary's in Lexington Park, Maryland. She was born and raised in Rockland County, NY and received her undergraduate from SUNY Buffalo. She completed her veterinary degree at St. Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ferrao enjoys small animal medicine and surgery. Outside of the office she likes outdoor activities including skiing, going to the beach, sports, reading and travelling, and spending quality time with her husband, daughter and their two adorable cats, Pinta & Roumi. Dr. Ferrao grew up knowing she wanted to be a veterinarian. As early as age 3, taking care of animals was her passion. She's always worked towards that goal and has enjoyed the adventures along the way. Dr. Ferrao looks forward to meeting the clients of VCA Orange County Veterinary Hospital!
